More on Abortion

“The greatest destroyer of peace is abortion because if a mother can kill her own child, what is left for me to kill you and you to kill me? There is nothing between.”

Mother Teresa
The above statement, in my opinion, explains it all. When you start trying to separate ethical and moral boundaries, where  no boundary exists, you’re going to get into trouble.  Like the above quote, there is no in between. You are either in or out. There isn’t a line between killing an unhealthy baby, and killing a healthy thirty year old.  Well, you say, “This person said that when they get to a certain condition, they want to be assisted in suicide.” So, if a 25 year old walks up and tells you to help them commit suicide because they are depressed, will you do it?  Most likely not. So, when this Planned Parenthood stuff came out, it was terrible. The government had to make the hard choice on whether or not to de-fund them. Is that a hard choice? The government says it is okay to kill a baby, and assist a suicide, but an employer cannot decide who can work at their business.  If you don’t allow a homosexual to work at your business, you’re being discriminatory. Well, I think we’re being discriminatory towards a little baby when we automatically  abort them when we see they have a “defect.” When a pilot is flying a jet and one engine goes out over the ocean, creating a defect, is he  going to just “abort” the the flight and nose dive the aircraft straight into the water, giving the passengers no chance? Even if there is almost no chance of making it to the closest airport, the pilot is going to try as hard as he can to make it. I believe we should give babies the same chance. Every life is important in God’s eyes.

ABORTION

                        11 weeks                                                       12 weeks

And if we accept that a mother

can kill even her own child,

how can we tell other people

not to kill one another?

 Mother Teresa

Here is a question when is it ok to murder?? Also what is your definition of murder???? You might think it is ok to murder if you are getting revenge. You might not realize this but there are at least 854,123 people murder a year in the U.S. That number I just gave you  where people under 20 weeks years of age. Is it ok to murder those baby’s. You may say they were not humans they are just fetus, so they aren’t really humans when they get aborted, and some of you might say what if they where women who got raped, so if that happens it is ok to have an abortion. I believe in the bible and the bible say  they are humans from the start. All of you might not believe in the bible. That is your choice, but went does that so called fetus become a human and when does it become illegal to abort?? I believe they are humans from the start and they are always illegal to abort. If it is ok to abort humans in the womb. Then what’s is to stop me from killing a person who is 20. If you say it is ok to kill the baby’s then what is the difference????????????????????????? Aren’t baby’s humans to?  Lets say this girl gets raped and you say is ok abort it the baby because it was a rape. Well rape is a awful thing but just because something bad happened that means you get permission  to kill. That is like saying I got fired so, now I’m poor and can’t find a job. So I’m going to go kill my boss, because he caused this. You wouldn’t do that so, what is the difference. At the top of the post there are some pictures of unborn baby’s at 11,12 weeks old. To show you that you can tell they are humans from the start. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Do Morals Matter?

The United States is always talking about the importance of ethics and morals when it comes to foreign relations. The communist who said the below quote has a very good point.

One must say bluntly that it is an unattractive sight when, with a view to smearing the Soviet people, leaders of such a country as the United States resort to what almost amounts to obscenities alternating with hypocritical preaching about morals and humanism.

Yuri Andropov

We tell other nations how to fight war without hurting civilians, which is a good thing, and we don’t allow carpet bombing. But, we are willing to abort millions of our own babies. More American babies have been killed by ourselves, than  Jews by Hitler, who was trying to exterminate a race of people. We are so hypocritical; we fight wars to end attacks on us, but we’ll legally kill ourselves. That makes no sense whatsoever. We’ve killed more babies by ourselves than Americans killed during 9/11. Think about how many great men and women have been killed because of abortion. I don’t care if some of those people would’ve had mental issues; they’re still humans. We have no right to judge morals and ethics when we legally allow abortion. Baby parts are being sold by planned parenthood.  We are doing atrocious things that are just as bad as many things we condemn. We don’t believe in capitol punishment, but we will kill innocent babies because they were an “accident.” Don’t tell me that. I’m pretty sure you know what happens when opposite genders join. That’s like throwing a baseball straight at someone and saying that it’s an accident when it hits them. Think about it; that baby that just got aborted could’ve been somebody who did something great.  That baby was created by God, not by accident.  We have children’s hospitals to help with such things as cancer, but as soon as a baby seems to have a defect, we kill it. There is no way to excuse killing of babies, no matter what the circumstances.

A couple of thoughts….

A significant fraction of evangelical voters appear more likely to ignore the candidates’ specific economic and foreign policy platforms in favor of concerns about gay marriage or abortion.

Lawrence M. Krauss

We’re always going to argue about abortion. It’s a hard choice and it’s controversial, and that’s why I’m pro-choice, because I want people to make their own choices.

Hillary Clinton
I majorly disagree with those two statements. The first one had no thought put into it by the person that stated it. I would rather have a good moral, ethical leader than an experienced  politician. Even Hitler is a good example; he was a great politician and leader, but his mind was depraved and warped. Hillary’s quote is just as bad. Letting people make whatever choice they want is a dangerous idea. These are both good examples of statements that sound good at first, but are in reality, completely empty. Is murder controversial? I don’t think so. It is such a stupid thing to argue about. When you end up pregnant, I don’t think it’s the baby’s fault. Let the baby live; it didn’t make the choice to come alive. Why do we even have the option to legally do these disgusting things, and they try to normalize them? I quit Pandora radio because they sent a valentine’s email showing gays and lesbians together. They were trying to normalize a disgusting practice, and I don’t want such things to become normal in my life. Every time I see such images, I want to feel just as disgusted as the first time I heard of such a thing. These issues are obvious things that make most Christians want to turn away from it. But, are we willing to treat our more subtle sins with such an attitude? If you are growing in the Lord, more and more sins should become that way.

Be Progressive!

We all want progress, but if you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive.

C. S. Lewis
That quote is awesome! I’m conservative, and all for being progressive. Most liberals consider themselves progressive, and conservatives not so progressive. I think that being progressive is what keeps a nation at the top, and keeps it running smoothly. The reason that conservatives don’t look progressive is because they don’t support things like planned parenthood, gun control, and homosexuality. They aren’t being non-progressive by not supporting these issues; they are seeing what problems these issues create. That, as C.S. Lewis put it, is progressive. Have you ever been driving and miss an exit or hit a wrong road? Do you normally turn around, or keep going? It depends. Sometimes you can keep going and end up in the same place; it just takes a little bit longer than normal. Or, other times, you’ll have to turn around and go back because you will not get to your destination. There have been many times in our country’s history when we have had to do an about-turn, and change what we are doing. That’s exactly what we did when the Civil War happened. Many people realized that slavery was wrong and decided that they should go back and change it. I think that the issue of abortion has been experimented with enough that it’s time to get off the detour and back on the main road. It has been shown how much abortion hurts the girls with the baby (and the baby). Hurting people isn’t being progressive, right? When something fails, we need to be willing to change and start over. That is the beauty of capitalism; you can be progressive. That’s why socialism and communism fail; they can’t be progressive.

Is Compromise Good or Bad?

Compromise is the best and cheapest lawyer.

Robert Louis Stevenson

A compromise is the art of dividing a cake in such a way that everyone believes he has the biggest piece.

Ludwig Erhard

If my house was on fire, I can’t compromise about which part of the house I’m going to save. You save the whole house or it will all burn down. We either save this country or we do not.

Marco Rubio
Compromising is an interesting subject; to live, you have to compromise with people you disagree with. But, when do you not compromise? When the compromise violates your principles. That’s why it can become complicated in politics. You can’t get anything done in office if you don’t  compromise. But how much do you lower your standards? You have to compromise when in office, but not when you’re trying to get votes. I hate seeing compromises being made before a politician is even elected. I liked Rubio’s statement when he said that if he has to compromise right now, he doesn’t want to be elected. Why compromise when no compromise is necessary? When they do that, it shows bad character to me. It’s either denying your real principles or showing your real character. With caucuses going right now, the presidential candidates start getting really serious about remaining in the top of the polls. So, seeing whether or not they compromise is a show of their real character. Them under fire gives us a good view of how they respond to hard decisions, and of how they’ll actually act if they get elected.

Civil Rights

From racial profiling and being pulled over just for ‘driving while black’ to this new phenomenon of killing unarmed people out of some preconceived idea of fear, our lives and our children’s lives are not being valued.

Al Sharpton

I know that there are still some cases of discrimination, but the words, “Civil Rights,” are getting used too much. I addressed the gay rights deal in one of my last posts, and as I said, you’re not discriminating  against a person, you’re discriminating against their actions. Every human has rights, but not all actions do. When a police officer pulls somebody over, he’s not racial profiling, he’s action profiling. To make the assumption that all white officers hate black men is inaccurate. I think that’s amazing what our country has overcome, from slavery, to electing a black man to president. Police officers have to be held accountable, but not more than some person with a criminal record. Human rights are very important; it’s what our country was founded upon. But, they are not applicable to anything but a person. You can’t term actions, “civil rights,” and use them to push your religion, opinions, and political views.

Stand or Submit

America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.

Abraham Lincoln.

You may be wondering about the title. Well, I picked that title because I’m going to be writing about the Oregon standoff and some other things that are happening over there in Oregon. But first let me explain the quote. So, it is saying we, America, are strong enough to resist attack from the outside; but we, the people, let our freedom get taken away by the government. So, the only way we are going to lose our freedom is because we let them go. I’m sure most of you have heard about the standoff; if not, I will fill you in. There were two ranchers, the Hammens. It is a dad and son who own this ranch. Well, what started it all was that the Hammens started a controlled burn on their land to burn something. The wind picked up and the fire spread to BLM land and burned about 100 acres, but all the ranchers got together and put it out. So, the BLM said that the fire was set on purpose; they called it an act of domestic terrorism. The Hammens got sentenced to 15 months in jail.  They served the 15 months, then the judge decided it wasn’t long  enough; so, the judge then sentenced them for 5 more years, which is illegal. Once you are tried for a crime, you cannot be tried again for that same crime, which they were tried again for the same crime. So, there were a couple of ranchers from Nevada. Their names, the Bundy’s, are the ranchers that the BLM  took their cows a couple years ago. They decided to come up and tell the BLM that they had had enough of their illegal activities. The way they were doing it may not be the right way, but I don’t know anyway else to really do it.  They were also trying to get the Hammens freed. The ranchers got video of the BLM starting fires 100 feet from the ranchers’ corrals. One ranch lost about 80 head of cattle to the fire. You can see the video on YouTube. The BLM also rerouted a river in a valley  so all  the ranchers in the valley couldn’t get water.  The ranchers would end up having to sell, and then the BLM bought their land, and then rerouted the river back to the place it was before. This stuff has been going on for awhile. I’m just trying to let all you know what is going on. So, as for the title, I thought this a perfect time to ask you all a question. Are you going to stand up for your freedom that our forefathers fought so hard to get? Or, are you going to submit to the government and their illegal activities? You may not think it is that bad, but if we the people don’t stand up, trust me, it will only get worse. So, will you stand up for your freedom? Or, will YOU let them go down the  drain? Let me know in the comments if you will STAND or SUBMIT.

Homosexuality

I think that the Bible teaches that homosexuality is a sin, but the Bible also teaches that pride is a sin, jealousy is a sin, and hate is a sin, evil thoughts are a sin. So I don’t think that homosexuality should be chosen as the overwhelming sin that we are doing today.

Billy Graham
I think that the legalization of allowing homosexuals to be “married” was a bad choice to be made.  If somebody is homosexual, it’s not up to me to tell them not to be. But,them forcing homosexuality on us is more discriminating than us not baking a cake for their wedding. Billy Graham points out that there are lots of sins and that we shouldn’t make such a big deal about one in particular. But,that doesn’t mean that we need to change laws to accept it. People claim that they are born with a natural desire for it. Why don’t we legalize it for people to be thieves, if they have the desire to do it? People say they have a desire to kill people; do we legalize that? Us legalizing sin is showing a country that’s going to degrade. If someone is homosexual, you shouldn’t harass them; you should treat them as a person, and with respect. But you don’t have to, and shouldn’t be forced to agree with their decision. People try to equate it with civil rights movements. But, there is a big difference. You should accept a person no matter what race, because they are a person. You should accept a homosexual because they are a person. But, you don’t have to accept their actions. When a white officer shoots a black man, he’s not shooting him because he’s not Caucasian; he’s shooting him based on the fact that the man is going to “act”, and harm him. When you refuse to sign a homosexual marriage license, you’re not discriminating against that person, you’re discriminating upon their actions.

Interesting Financial Facts.

In 1915, the median household wage was: $687, with inflation that turns into: $16,121.85 today.*

In 2014, the median household wage was: $53,657, with inflation that turns it into: $2,289.20, in 1915.*

…Which means that households in 1915 were making: 30%   of what the average household made in 2014.*

I also found that the average American total consumer debt per household now averages $16,046, which would be: $683.77 in 1915.*

These are charts listing how Americans spend their money:

money

1900spend.png

2003spend.png

These show how our industry has improved over the years. But, we could be more careful how we spend our money. As I pointed out earlier- The median household makes 70% more than 100 years ago, which means that we should be able to live at least 70% better than 100 years ago, without getting into debt. Granted, housing and travel cost a lot more, but that can still be considered living better. If you look at the average American household consumer debt, you will see that it’s as much as the average salary in 1915. In the Bible, it says that the borrower is slave to the lender, so we should consider that before we slide our credit card next time.
